Christmas in Amherst
Village...This
charming annual tour and community event returns for its fifth year with six
beautifully decorated historic homes. The homes vary in style,
history and stature attracting men and women, antique lovers and history
buffs. Decorated for Christmas by their homeowners and professional
florists, the tour is sure to inspire the decorator in all of
us! Tour tickets are $25 in advance, $30 the day of the tour.
Lunch is available for $10 (preordered) at the Congregational Church on

Amherst Area Newcomers Club, The Amherst Area Newcomers is a social club formed in 1970
to help people meet other people in Amherst and the neighboring towns of

Amherst Junior Womens' Club, The Amherst Junior Women's Club was formed over 40 years
ago. It is made up of Amherst women who plan fun community events and volunteer
their time, energy and fundraising talent to civic projects, Amherst public
schools, and educational enrichment. In addition, the Club is directly involved
in providing food, clothing, and services to those in need in Amherst and the
surrounding communities. Membership is open to any Amherst women over age 21.

Volunteer to help the American Red Cross. They are looking for volunteers to
help make a difference every day. The Red Cross provides emergency assistance
for victims of fire, flood or any disaster; they teach people how to save lives
with CPR & First Aid training, and they help the families of military

Souhegan Valley Chorus, The Souhegan Valley Chorus is the community chorus for the
Amherst-Milford area, The Chorus welcomes any interested singers (H.S. age
through seniors) in the region. They rehearse weekly at the Milford Middle
School and usually perform two concerts a year in the Souhegan H.S. auditorium.
