The Amherst Town Library was built in 1892 and has remained much the same ... the stone building is another example of historic Amherst Village architecture and is truly a delightufl structure conveniently located in Amherst Village across from Carriage Lane. Village residents can take a leisurely walk to the libary seven days a week. There is ample parking for residents nearby as well.
